To enjoy working with flower-making tools and not to spoil the fabric and the mood, please read this quick guide:

– The tool is a soldering iron with a set of nozzles (working heads). Remember! Soldering iron is strongly warmed and can burn the fabric or cause burns in fumble. We recommend novice flower-makers to use namely floristic soldering iron with temperature control, as it prevents burning of fabrics and allows you to adapt to a comfortable temperature when using it. Soldering iron heats the nozzle from 150 to 450 degrees Celsius (300-850 °F).
-How to fix nozzles? At the correct fixation, the nozzle in the soldering iron shall not be turned or hang out. Soldering iron has two screws, the first screw secures the heating element to the body of the soldering iron’s tube and it should not be touched. The second Wing-screw with secures the working head’s leg to the heating element. It does not make sense to unscrew the Wing-screw completely – it is enough to make 2-3 turns to insert the nozzle. Please note that there is a hole or clamping flat (cut) on the nozzle leg. They are necessary for a strong fixation with a Wing-screw, i.e. the screw must get into this hole or clamping flat (cut). Practice it on a cold soldering iron, not turning it on.
– Turn on the soldering iron and gradually add the temperature of the dimmer (regulator), approximately every 1 minute. Remember! All fabrics are different, most delicate of them (silk, rayon) are very easy to get burnt. However, cotton requires a higher temperature;
– Do not put excessive pressure on the soldering iron, as you can bend or damage it. Remember, petals or leaves become convex and embossed not so much due to pressure, as due to temperature;
– Changing nozzles. Replace nozzles with pliers or protective gloves. However, this is still more reliable with pliers.
– Store hot nozzles in fireproof containers, or even better – in our special wooden stand;
– Do not forget to turn off the soldering iron after completion of work, and allow it to cool.

Hold strong the handle of soldering iron in one hand and nozzle in pliers.

Insert nozzle to a soldering iron. Remember hole in nozzle and screw must coincide.

Fix nozzle by the screw. Use pliers for hand burn safety. Do not make hard efforts to tighten the screw.
